Office Manager

Hello, my name is Joanie and I am the Office Manager/Dental Assistant. I’ve been in Dentistry for 20 years now and I’ve been with Bonness Family Dentistry for 13 years and counting. I love working with our patients and consider all our patients part of our family. I can help with appointments, financial concerns and anything else you may need. Working here at Bonness Family Dentistry is pretty awesome, the Doctors are very easy to work with and very understanding when it comes to our families.

I am originally from Ft. Wayne but moved to Indianapolis with my husband for his job almost 17 years ago. My husband and I have two dogs, Dexter a Whippet and Maggie a retired Greyhound. I love to bake, read, travel, and go to car shows with our Corvette. I have a side business called Joanie’s Cupcakes & More that I run out of my house when not working in the dental office.

Hygienist

My name is Jen and I’ve been a licensed dental hygienist for 18 years. I graduated from IU School of Dentistry in 2001 and from IUPUI in 2003. I have been with Bonness Family Dentistry since 2006. I am a proud mom of two boys, who are both very active in sports and academic extracurricular activities. Outside of the operatory, I am also a Keep Collective jewelry designer! I love to travel, especially to the beach, and hope to do more in the future!

Dental Assistant

I have been a dental assistant for 11 years. I joined Bonness Family Dentistry in 2015 and have loved working here. The doctors and my co-workers are the best to work with. I love helping our patients feel as comfortable as they can and caring for our patients as they were my family.

I was born in Miami Florida but was raised most of my life in Indiana. As a kid, I loved to play softball and basketball. I married my high school sweetheart and we have a beautiful daughter. Our daughter has played several sports but the travel softball has kept us the busiest over the years. Our daughter will be graduating high school this summer and attending college this fall. When we are not traveling with softball I love visiting with family and friends, spending time walking our dog Sugar, walking 5k’s with my family and just enjoying life.
